Wrist Pain #1

Welcome to SelfCare Saturday!

This is a new service I am offering to help you stay on track with your SelfLove through SelfCare!

These next few weeks I’ll be talking about wrist pain in yoga asana practice. Downward facing dog, Plank, Crow, Handstand… even just being on your hands and knees can cause pain if you haven’t established stability around your wrists.

We all know how important stabilization of the spine is in these poses, but what about the wrists… ?

those small little bones are taking most of your body weight or in some cases, like in handstand, all of your body weight. It is so important to learn how to engage the muscles around your wrists in order to protect them.

If you would like to receive the next two weeks of SelfCare Saturday where we will explore increasing shoulder stability to reduce wrist pain, and effective hand and wrist position while in the poses, please subscribe to my weekly SelfCare Series!

If you found this SelfCare Saturday tip helpful, please share a comment below the video on youtube or here on the blog…

and pass it along to a friend… or share it with your facebook community!

If there is a particular nagging issue that you would like to see discussed here, please reply to this email. I will do my best to address your concerns!

Thank you for being part of this SelfCare for SelfLove community!

Namaste,
Amy
